REFUND POLICY

Internship at OpenGenus

Last updated: 25 July 2026

We want you to buy with confidence. This policy explains exactly when a purchase from OpenGenus (the AI Engineering Course and related services) can be refunded.

Full refund before access begins

If you have paid but we have not yet granted access to the course content or started any 1:1 service, you are entitled to a 100% refund, no questions asked. Just email us.

After access begins

Because the course is digital content delivered immediately and the higher tiers include personal 1:1 time, once your access has been granted the purchase is non-refundable. This is standard for digital products and protects against content being taken and then refunded.

If we fail to deliver

If we do not deliver what was promised for your tier — for example we cannot provide the mentoring sessions included in Pro, or we are unable to run the Author Track engagement — contact us and we will refund the undelivered portion on a fair, pro-rata basis. We would rather refund you than leave you with something you cannot use.

Consumers in the EU / UK

You have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for digital purchases. By choosing to begin accessing the content immediately, you acknowledge that you lose this right once access has been granted. If you have not yet accessed the content, the 14-day right applies in full.

Duplicate or accidental payments

Duplicate charges and obvious accidental purchases are refunded in full, always.

How to request a refund

Email team@opengenus.org from the address you used to purchase, with your order reference and a one-line reason (the reason is only so we can improve — it is not a condition). We reply within a business day and approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Chargebacks

Please contact us first — we will almost always resolve it faster than your bank can. Payments are processed by our payment provider acting as merchant of record, and refunds are issued through them.
